I was an undergraduate @wlv_soa in the 90s. Recently – as a member of the alumni association – I was invited to the opening of the British Art Show 9 at the MK Building, and I thought what a first class venue for exhibiting contemporary art. Thanks to @maggieayliffe @charlartslive and Clare and Claire for their support and encouragement. I’m very happy to be exhibiting at the Wolverhampton School of Art and Design … After all, @wlv_soa was the making of me.

Wolverhampton School of Art has been at the centre of the city’s creative and industrial strategy since the 1850s. It’s iconic MK Building designed by Charles Wheeler, was formally opened to students in October 1970 and has dominated the Wolverhampton skyline ever since.
